Here is an extract from the workshop which was written for a Carers magazine, it’s a beautiful healing meditation for you to enjoy!
Carers day out workshop
Hi everyone! lovely to be here amongst all you lovely Carers, I've been given the opportunity to write a little piece about my book, so here goes!
I wrote the Carers workshop for Carers 'who don't have any time for themselves’, it's full of hints and tips to promote wellbeing and includes: Healing, stretches, hand massage, meditation, visualisation and breathing exercises. It's an easy read which allows the readers creativity to flow... it's full of colour, art and photos and below is a healing meditation taken from the book, if you would like to join me, then here we go!
Enjoy the dancing... ellipses!... and get yourself comfy and warm... sit or lie down... relaxing your mind and body... and gently focus on your breathing...
feel how you are breathing... in and out... and gradually... slow... your breathing down... slowly breathing in... and... out... in... and gently out... feeling the breath... entering your body... and slowly breathing... out again... you may want to close your eyes... still... feeling the breath... in... and... gently out... breathing slowly and naturally...
We are going on a small healing journey... knowing you are safe... and cared for... allow yourself to relax... breathing in... and gently out... breathing in... the healing energy for your body... breathing out... any tension or pain you may have... imagine the healing energy flowing around your body... in tune with your heart... bringing the energy... up through your feet... and feeling a warm... tingly feeling... as it goes up... the back of your legs... up through your knees... to your thighs and hips... still... feeling relaxed and comfortable... feeling the loving warm healing energy... at the base of your spine... and rising up your back... down through your arms and hands.... to your fingers... tingling... and flowing... to the base of your neck... relaxing all the muscles... enjoy this wonderful nurturing energy... rising to the tips of your ears and nose... to your forehead... sit with the healing energy... for a while... relaxing... and allowing the energy... to go... where it is needed the most...

your healing treatment... is now complete... your body... has everything it needs... very gently... very calmly... come back into your awareness... feeling your feet on the ground... wiggling your fingers and toes... having a stretch or a yawn... sitting or lying for a moment... still enjoying the peace... have a sip of water... taking your time... coming back into the room... where everything is familiar... once again...
Amazing ...!!!... how do you feel... after this beautiful healing meditation... hopefully more relaxed... and remember you can do this at any time.
